  • Natural Horsemanship Lessons

Whether you aren't quite ready to get in the saddle and need some confidence, or you want to learn how to train horses by improving your communication on the ground. Horsemanship sessions will help you.

    How it works:

-You will be paired up with a horse that will best fit your goals

-This will be the horse that you use during each session (if that horse is a good fit)

-You will be provided with hands on instruction, so you actually do the training!

-You have the flexibility to choose the frequency of your sessions.

Our goal is to help build healthy relationships with equine partners.

If you are interested, Please Private Message the Spring Valley Farm Facebook page with any follow-up questions or to set up an intro session with our instructor.

    $65/hour

Waivers

Each student is required to sign a waiver before the start of a lesson, or legal guardian of the student is a minor. We focus on a safe and family oriented environment!

What to Wear

We recommend wearing close-toed shoes and pants (not shorts, as legs make rub.) We have helmets available, as it is required for minors, and recommended for adults. (If you bring your own helmet, it must be for horseback riding. No bicycle helmets allowed.)

Arrive Early

Our lessons are not just about riding, but also about learning how to care for the horse. You will be brushing them, picking their hooves, and tacking up! Make sure to arrive 15 minutes early!
