Experienced Trail Guides Needed

We're on the hunt for pros who can lead our guests on epic adventures and not get lost in the woods (mostly). Are you ready to level up your career and make some unforgettable memories?

Our mission is to make our clients go 'WOW!' and we need guides who can bring the magic. Since we're obsessed with being the best, we need guides who can rock this role from day one.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Comfortable and Confident Around Horses

You don’t need to be a rodeo champ, but you should know your way around a horse—how to halter, lead, groom, saddle, and bridle without spooking them (or yourself). We’re looking for calm, confident handlers who can read a horse’s body language, adjust their approach when needed, and keep things safe and stress-free for both horse and rider.

Our horses are well-trained and easygoing, and we want guides who can match that vibe. The goal is to keep things smooth, safe, and enjoyable for everyone in the saddle.

  • Exceptional Time Management Skills

You’ll need to be a time management ninja—keeping rides on schedule while catching horses, grooming them, and getting them tacked up efficiently. Stay focused, bring the energy, and help create awesome, unforgettable experiences for every rider!

    • Stays on Schedule • Keeps the Day on Track • Ready on Time, Every Time • Manages Prep & Ride Times Smoothly

  • Great With People

A friendly, approachable attitude and a natural ability to connect with people are absolutely key in this role. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys making others feel welcome—someone who goes above and beyond to create a fun, relaxed, and memorable experience for every guest. Whether it’s offering a warm smile, patiently answering questions, or sharing fun facts about our horses, you should be the kind of person who makes people feel like they’ve found a new friend.

Creating a positive atmosphere is just as important as managing logistics. We want our guests to leave not only raving about the ride, but also about the amazing guide who made them feel seen, heard, and cared for. A kind heart, humble spirit, and strong character are a must. Our goal is to turn every visit into a 5-star memory, and that starts with the person leading the experience—you. If you’re the type of person who lights up a room (or a barn), keeps your cool under pressure, and treats everyone with respect and warmth, we want you on our team.

  • Family-Friendly Atmosphere

We’re a family-centered operation, and that means creating a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for guests of all ages. We’re looking for mature, trustworthy, and dependable guides who genuinely enjoy working with both kids and adults, and who know how to keep things fun, positive, and professional.

We maintain high standards and expect all staff to do the same. That means absolutely no drinking, smoking, dipping, foul language, or inappropriate behavior—on or off the trail. Our guests trust us to provide a wholesome, family-friendly experience, and we rely on our team to lead by example and uphold that trust every day.

  • Ride Times & Shifts

Our shifts are 6am to 2pm (AM) or 1pm to 9pm (PM), with rides going out at 8am, 10am, noon, 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm. Note that the 8am and 6pm ride will be dropped in October according to temperatures and sunlight, and our shifts will shrink to 8am-7pm during that time.

We need guides for all shifts, and we’re closed on Sundays.

  • Competitive Pay

Starting at $20/hour, our pay is as solid as our saddles. We believe great work deserves great pay!

  • Location

Our operation is located in beautiful Moneta, Virginia, surrounded by stunning natural scenery.
